What to do if an automatic door doesn’t open?
Sometimes, automatic doors no longer perform as well as they did when they were first installed.
When an automatic door does not open it could be due to different reasons: the drive unit may be suffering electrical or mechanical faults; there could be an error in the software activated by the motion sensor; or the door does not open and close smoothly or as well as expected.
But what should we do to resolve the problem of an automatic door that does not work properly and will not open? Here are the Trouble-shooting for QINUO’s automatic door sensors:
(1) If the door remains closed and the LED on sensor is off, the possible cause is the sensor power is off. Just check the wiring and the power supply.
(2) If the door closes and opens constantly, it might means the sensor is disturbed by the closing of door or vibrations cause by the door motion. Firstly, we need to make sure the sensor is fixed firmly. Then adjust the antenna angle and decrease the field size.
(3) If the door opens for no apparent reason, the cause may be the highly reflective environments, the sensor detects objects outside. Please adjust the sensitivity of sensor, and detecting area of sensor.
